Britain's leader plans to press supporting countries to deliver Ukraine with additional advanced missile systems to strike Russian targets during a meeting in London on the upcoming Friday.

Sir Keir will host Ukraine's leader Zelensky alongside what's known as "group of committed partners", including numerous of Kyiv's partners who have committed to offer Ukraine protection commitments once fighting stops is brokered.

The Ukrainian leader has been urging for several weeks for additional advanced missile technology from allied countries, a move that Moscow has stated would intensify the hostilities.

President Zelensky is travelling from the EU capital, where he held talks with EU leaders on Thursday pursuing economic assistance.

"The only person engaged in current hostilities who refuses to halt the war is President Putin," the Prime Minister stated.

Britain's leader furthermore announce that one hundred additional anti-aircraft missiles will be delivered to Ukrainian forces sooner than scheduled, as detailed in a £1.6bn deal struck between Britain and Kyiv in spring.

Diplomatic Momentum

Ukraine's leader comes off the back of two diplomatic wins in recent days: the US President's move to implement further sanctions against the Russian government, and the European Union agreeing to fund Kyiv's budgetary shortfall.

Sir Keir is aiming to maintain the progress by intensifying the influence on the Kremlin to pursue a resolution to the hostilities.

The Prime Minister will urge participants to increase the supply of advanced missile technology following a successful attack on an industrial facility in the Bryansk region, Russia, using British-supplied advanced weaponry.

"And his brutal strikes on young children in a preschool recently make that abundantly clear," he continued.

Two children were among no fewer than seven killed in a wave of Moscow's attacks on Ukrainian territory, which hit a nursery in the major urban center Ukraine's second city.

Budgetary Negotiations

Britain's leader will consult Western allies on how to take Russia's petroleum resources off the global market.

The participants will furthermore discuss employing frozen Russian assets to supply the Ukrainian government with monetary support, although the proposal encountered divided opinions and legal hurdles at the European meeting on yesterday.

The EU opted against approving an initiative to utilize approximately €140 billion in seized Russian resources to economically support Kyiv's finances.

Nonetheless, the leaders consented to help support Kyiv's "financial needs" for the upcoming biennium.
