It's difficult for Australia to set fresh records.

The greatest achievements have already been conquered.

We're talking about the team that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and once went nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, the ones sought by the peak baggers, are the only things left for a team that has achieved everything.

The fact it required up to Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase over 300, taking back their record for the biggest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, frankly, a testament to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over the last half-century.

It's challenging for their batters to hold a record if not afforded the chance.

Finally, the result of Australia giving up 330 runs was skipper Alyssa Healy being given a platform to create her most recent brilliance.

Originally famous as the teenage relative of famous ex Aussie wicketkeeper Ian, she made her debut in 2010 after her nation couldn't capture either of the T20 or ODI World Cups conducted earlier and has seen it all through 15 successful years since.

A T20 championship victory arrived three months after her bow and seven international trophies have come from 10 efforts across formats.

"A chance to go out there and engage in competition with her and simply enjoy myself in that aspect, somewhat inspired me," stated Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 pitches - her swiftest at a World Cup - and her century in 84 balls as she punished short deliveries, scoring 21 fours and three maximums.

Once she was removed her side required another 66 at one run per ball - a manageable total now demanding an easy conclusion.

"To chase 330 is new territory so I'm pleased we have the confidence to do that now," continued Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it another time but, if necessary, we know we can do it."

That comment will be the last competing nations at this tournament want to hear.

In recent days a sense they will succeed regardless of circumstances has only strengthened - this success following success over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a match against longtime competitors England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final berth may probably be guaranteed.
